    This update is for one of the WIP buildings that will be used fo the Mine/refinery area.

    Perfect on those pics... rabbit It fits perfectly with the other buildings and the TOD makes the textures look incredible. Nice work.
    If I have some time tomorow I'll try to make the TOD work correctly in the beta you sent me.
    And If you have some time don't hesitate to post a tiny video to see the model in game. Laughing

    Okay, sounds great :p i'll make a video as soon as I make another building or two. That way it'll be totaly worth it Razz.


    On Another note:

    Some reference images would be great coming from you guys, I want to know your desires Twisted Evil lol

    Anything that you think would be appropiate for the overall theme of the MOD is welcome.. Reference images are should be fairly hi-res. that way I can make out the details.

    effin sick.. loooks great. So ive got the ability now to unpack all the meshes from Fallout 3, if you have it, or have ideas for what might be nice tell me, ill look for it, the TOD is just great, period, fists so well, nice job everyone. Modman, talent flows out of your every orifice, yes even your crap is talented....nice job.

    I'm not sure what your asking for when comes to fallout 3.. Do you mean import some of the models?

    no dont really have an update for you, its hard to find good enough reference images, for the one i want, but ive been fiddlign around and ive made a building, i cant exactly texture it....dont really know how to do uvw mapping yet, ive only got the gist of it still practicing.

    thanks man yeah im think im going to try to texture it today if i get to it. but as i said i only have the gist of the uvw texturing down, so it will take me a while.

    that looks really good for a first attempt, I might want to warn you that it is a good idea to to texture each piece before you copy and paste the objects.. This way you keep yourself from having to do the same UVW map over and over again.. Then you just convert everything to Poly. And the UVWmap becomes perminant.


    But since youre still learning how the actual mapping works, then that is a very good start Cheers. Very Happy

    hahah yeah after about 3 hours trying to figure out how to unwrap it right...then i finally just gave up.....so yeah im going to make another one tonight and texture it like you said modman....haha

    Great news, I've successfully imported a simple, untextured custom geometry object made in Google SketchUp (free version) into Sandbox2. I'm looking for documentation on how to make working textures for it or how to assign the default materials now. Collision seems to be working too, it behaves like a Solid in the editor.

    Ive got some good news of my own! :p

    New pics of modified building:

    I completly rebuilt it from the ground up, because of many issues.. And I'm glad I did, I fixed the problem of requiring 3 objects to make up the building, which eliminates the stressful "Placement thing"..

    Also, ive improved the texture res to 4096X4096 without any loss in performance..

    Comments? thoughts?
